Terms & Conditions

All goods are sold subject to availability. Both price and availability information is subject to change without notice, hence any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions.  Unless specifically stated the Jewellery and Accessories used to demonstrate an item are not part of the sale.  No contract exists between you and Packaging World until we accept the order by taking payment for the goods.  Orders are accepted at Packaging World’s sole discretion and we maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation. 


Colours and Measurements

Colours may vary slightly from those shown on the website due to the limitations of Internet technology. All descriptions specifications and particulars of the goods to be supplied are approximate only. In the case where size and colour had to be exact we highly recommend getting a sample


Media Rights/Re-sale of goods

The descriptions and illustrations contained in any advertising media used by Packaging World have been provided in good faith. None of our descriptions, illustration or price list shall form part of the contract. In buying products from Packaging World this does not entitle you to use Packaging World’s illustrations or descriptions. In the case of the customer re-selling the goods or forwarding the goods to third parties, Packaging World shall accept no liability for any loss or damage to the goods and it is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods prior to such re-sale or forwarding.


Samples

Packaging World’s sample policy allows samples to be sent free of charge if said sample may be sent as a “Large Letter”. Any samples that’s cannot be sent in a Large Letter will have to be discussed and prices according to price of item and its cost of postage. This may be discussed with one of our helpful members of staff either by Telephone, eBay message or Email. If Packaging World believes that orders places for samples are un-genuine it is Packaging World’s right to decline sample orders without giving an explanation. 


Processing of Orders

We aim to arrange shipment of all items within 1-2 working days of receiving your order (excluding weekends and bank holidays) All items remain the property of Packaging World until paid for.  An order is not deemed to be confirmed until cleared payment is received
www.packagingworld.co.uk receives daily updates of our stock levels, on the rare occasion goods are temporarily out of stock due to unexpected demand for items we will contact you on the telephone number or email address provided so that you may choose between having it shipped when it is back in stock, selecting an alternative colour / product, or you may opt to cancel your order. If no telephone number is given at the time of order we will contact you by email. If we do not get a response within two calendar weeks of leaving a message or sending an email, we will send the item in the nearest available colour option, or place your order on hold while we await the new delivery of your item if no alternative colour is available.

Urgent orders – we must be contact either via Phone. Message attachments are not a viable way to indicate that a parcel is urgent. Packaging World accept no reasonability for any urgent that is not delivered on time when a Telephone call has not been made.
Please make sure that all correct information is provided on your account before purchase. Packaging World will send all items to the address provided at time of sale and we cannot be held responsible for any delays or unsuccessful deliveries where information has been provided incorrectly. All re-deliveries in these cases must be paid for by the customer.




Payments

We accept payments by Cheque, Postal Orders, PayPal, Bank Transfer and all major credit and debit cards (including Solo and Visa Electron). All Cheque must be made to Packaging World. Anything other name will not be accepted.  Payment can be made online by credit or debit card or online via PayPal or by telephone. We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate your name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following two exceptions:

For products reserved online for store pick up or any other reservation service the price you pay is the price in store on the day of collection.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to refuse to supply to individuals whose credentials cannot be verified.  We will use discretion in these matters and will not authorize payment or supply unless we are completely satisfied that the order is legitimate.
Payment on invoice will not be considered, you cannot pay in instalments and we will not dispatch any orders without receiving cleared payment.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch.  If we have received cleared payment we reserve the right to refund less a 10% re-stocking fee. In the case where cancelation is required, Packaging World holds no responsibility if cancelation is made after the order has left our warehouse.

Damages

If your goods have unfortunately been damaged in transit, we require that you please follow the procedure set out below:

Please inspect goods as soon as possible after receipt and notify us within 24 hours in writing (which can be by e-mail)
and at this time a picture may be require for our inspection. After this we will then make a decision to offer replacement,
partial refund or full refund depending on the circumstances.
It is of the utmost importance that the items full packaging materials are kept for inspection.
If you discard the original packing materials and/or item you may not be entitled to a replacement or refund as this will be needed for any claim for damages.
You may be required to sign insurance claim forms


Return  Policy

If for any reason the items you received are not what you desired or you are not satisfied
with your purchase please contact us by email/telephone within 7 working days and we will do everything we can to first resolve the matter.
If the matter cannot be resolved the items may be returned in the original packaging as instructed by a member of our sales staff
 via Email/Telephone conversation, where you will be given a return address and unique “Return Number” without this your return will be invalid.
For all items returned a full postage refund will only be given if an error has been made on our part.
If no error has occurred due to us the postage will not be refunded once items have been returned.
All returns must be returned to us undamaged, unused, and well packed within 7 days of being given your “Returns Number”.
If the item is returned unopened in the original packaging, we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. 
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping when items are being returned to us. It is up to you to insure that the parcel arrives back with us safely and in good condition.
 

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect information about you to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service.  The type of information we collect about you is that required to process your order, which is given at the time of ordering.  We do not collect sensitive information about you.  The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy.
Security is one of our highest priorities and we take every precaution to protect your personal information both online and offline.  All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.  If you have any questions about the security at our website, please e-mail us.


Complaints

Please e-mail us here at Packaging World if you are not happy with our service for any reason. We shall deal with your complaint promptly, we aim to acknowledge your complaint within three working days and keep you fully informed during our complaints procedure.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Seller shall be entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, but this right should not affect existing terms and conditions accepted by the Buyer upon making a purchase.


Disclaimer

The materials, products and services provided to you on this web site are on an "as-is" basis, without warranty of any kind, all goods sold by Packaging World are to be used by customer for customers choice of purpose and Packaging World accept not reasonability for breakages of goods during this use. 
You understand and expressly agree to use this web site at your sole risk that any material and/or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of this web site is at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of such material and/or data.


Packaging World will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages of any kind resulting from the use of or the inability to use Packaging World services, resulting from any goods or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through Packaging World services, resulting from loss of, unauthorized access to or alteration of a user's transmissions or data or for the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangibles, even if Packaging World had been advised of the possibility of such damages.
